Technical Properties:

Solvent Red 179 is a yellowish transparent red oil solvent dye. Solvent Red 179 has good heat resistance and light fastness,  good migration resistance and high tinting strength.

Solvent Red 179′s equivalence is Red E2G.

Solvent Red 179 is recommended for plastics, PS PET PA PC ABS (polyolefin,polyester,polycabonate,polyamide) etc.

Also allowed to be used in polyester fiber (PET).

Color Shade：

Application: (“☆” Superior, “○” Applicable, “△” Not recommend)

Also used in coloring resin and fibre, and has a better solubility than transparent red EG.

Physical Properties

Light Fastness: Consist of 1^st to 8^th grade, and the 8^th grade is superior, the 1^st grade is bad.

The heat resistance in PS can reach to 300℃

Degree of pigmentation: 0.05% dyes+0.1%titanium dioxide R

Solvent red 179 solubility in organic solvent at 20℃(g/l)
