The color strength and saturation of Solvent Yellow 3GF are significantly higher than those of Solvent Yellow 93 and Solvent Yellow 114. Solvent Yellow 3GF can be utilized in food contact materials since it is non-toxic and has a color strength that is more than twice as strong as Solvent Yellow 93. Additionally, Solvent Yellow 93 is not advised for any application in contact with the human body because it has been classified as a hazardous material by the European Chemicals Agency and has the attribution label GHS08 (hazardous to human health).

In the same price range and color spectrum, Solvent Yellow 3GF provides more beneficial color options.

The standard sample is solvent yellow 114 (left), and the sample is solvent yellow 3GF (right). According to the research, the reddish shade and yellowish shade of Solvent Yellow 3GF perform well.

The cost of Solvent Yellow 3GF is less than that of Solvent Yellow 114.

Solvent Yellow 3GF is a mid -shade yellow with 254 ℃ meting point. It has good light fastness and good heat resistance which can be used in the coloring of styremic engineering plastics but not recommended in ABS.
