Mono masterbatch is a type of plastic colorant that consists of a single pigment or additive, encapsulated in a carrier resin. It is used to add uniform color and other properties to plastics during the manufacturing process.

High concentrated mono masterbatch is a type of plastic coloring product that offers high levels of color and cost-effectiveness. It is ideal for applications such as injection molding, extrusion, blow molding and rotational casting where uniformity and consistency in the finished product are essential. Mono masterbatch consists of two components: a carrier resin and pigment or dye particles. The carrier resin serves as an inert base material to disperse the pigments evenly throughout the polymer matrix during processing. This ensures consistent color results with minimal variation from batch to batch.

Mono masterbatches typically contain up to 40% pigment or dye content, providing superior performance compared to conventional pre-coloured compounds which usually contain only 1–10%. The production process for high concentrated mono masterbatch involves mixing colourants with compatible carriers at elevated temperatures in an intensive mixer until homogeneity is achieved. This creates a highly stable compound that can be used directly without further compounding steps required prior to use in end products. High concentrated mono masterbatches offer excellent dispersibility into plastics due to their small particle size distribution which helps reduce clumping issues common when using traditional coloured pellets or pre-colored compounds. Additionally, they provide improved compatibility with other materials while still maintaining optimum optical properties such as glossiness, transparency and UV stability over time even under harsh environmental conditions – making them perfect for outdoor applications like signage boards or garden furniture parts exposed to sun and rain on daily basis. Moreover, these colour concentrates have lower specific gravity than virgin resins enabling light weight designs yet achieving desired aesthetics within short development cycles – saving both money & time!
